May 15 2024, We proudly debuted our first offsite show at Australian Fashion Week today unveiling Staple The Label SS24 Spring/Summer/Resort range. The runway show was held at the iconic The Calyx in the Botanical Garden of Sydney.
The hybrid collection celebrates laid-back luxury, minimalism, and coastal elegance, marking a pivotal moment in our brand journey focusing on elevated, high-quality resortwear. The show signified the Staple The Label evolution into the premium, contemporary market, underscored by a dedication to ensuring luxurious comfort is accessible across all age groups.
“The driving force behind the aesthetic of the Staple The Label brand is always around versatility, the moderns woman’s lifestyle and creating pieces with longevity. It’s about modern femininity. From a design perspective I always start with artwork. Whether that is print artwork or architecture and art.” said Sara Bolton Head Designer, Staple The Label
“The show was beautiful. Set in the iconic Botanic Gardens Calyx. We selected this venue for it’s representation of the Australian lifestyle. We were able to show outdoors surrounded by nature with a contemporary architectural edge.” Sara added.
Exploring the essence of laid-back luxury, the SS24 Spring/Summer/Resort collection contrasted neutral hues and natural fibers with bold prints and bright colorways of reds and blues. The closing piece was a statement that encapsulated the mood of the show: a denim playsuit styled with a bespoke over skirt, denim D-ring belt and trailing draped hem, gracing the iconic sandy coloured runway.
